I transferred people for years. Using a man basket. Never once had that much trouble. I worked in the Bering Sea. And Sea of Okhotsk. Amateur. With unbelievable swells.I remember getting transferred from a crew boat to the offshore plat form when working in the oilfield. Never had a problem.I've taken the basket in windy condition with rain, even hopped on the back of a boat from an inland barge, but I'm not climbing down no damn rope ladder especially when you can see the ladder is too short.
