Considering such a small creature, the beaver is an excellent builder of dams. It’s handiwork is amazing.As a kid, we played in the water too, but with really small toys. Never gets old. Adding little rock check dams every 100m or so would create little pockets to help groundwater infiltration.So nice to see a man dedicated to promoting floods downstream! And of course removal of the beaver pond also gets rid of the inconvenient firebreak it provided.
