When Tiffany was born, her half-siblings Eric, Donald Trump Jr, and Ivanka endured a really tough period. Their parents had a very public divorce and, angry and confused, the eldest, Donald Trump Jr., blamed his father.

“Listen, it’s tough to be a 12-year-old. You’re not quite a man, but you think you are. You think you know everything,” Trump Jr. said. “Being driven into school every day and you see the front page and it’s divorce! ‘THE BEST SEX I EVER HAD! ‘And you don’t even know what that means.”

Donald Trump had fought over the right to raise his three children. At the time, he also married his fourth wife, Marla Maples. Tiffany—also called the “wild-card” daughter of Donald Trump—was born on October 13, 1993, in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Tiffany Trump
Named after the Tiffany & Co. jewelry store on Fifth Avenue in New York City, Tiffany spent most of her early childhood years in “The Big Apple,” where her father’s real estate empire was based. She was seen together with her step-siblings at bigger family celebrations.

However, when Tiffany was only 9 years old, Donald and Marla Maples divorced. Speaking to Access Hollywood, Marla explained that they weren’t the best match after all.

“Well, he and I, were so different, as you could probably imagine,” she said. “I think you always hope in a marriage that you can bring the best out in each other. But after many years, we realized we weren’t.”

Marla had to sign a prenup before her marriage to Trump, and it was a tough one. According to Vanity Fair, the prenup showed that Trump wanted to protect his money. Sources told the magazine that Maples wanted $25 million. However, Trump only agreed to pay her $1 million if they separated within five years.

In addition, she’d receive another $1 million to buy a house. Trump would also stop making $100,000 child support payments for Tiffany when she turned 21. If she got a full-time job, enlisted in the military, or joined the Peace Corps earlier than that, the payments would cease altogether.

Following the divorce, Maples virtually disappeared from the spotlight, and she brought Tiffany with her to the wealthy city of Calabasas, just outside Los Angeles. As Marla Maples once said, she was raised by “a single mother ” and attended the prestigious Viewpoint School.

Where did Tiffany Trump go to school?
Soon after, Marla and Tiffany hung out with the famous Kardashians. Marla Maples wanted to become an actress, but Tiffany chose another path. Only a teenager, she released the single Like a Bird, with singers Sprite and Logic.

“I love music, but right now my priority is just focusing on school and getting into a good college,” Tiffany said during a Where Are They Now? segment on Oprah Winfrey’s show.

Though there’s been a lot of tension between her parents, Tiffany has had a good relationship with her half-siblings. In 2011, Donald’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, helped Tiffany get a summer internship at Vogue, later speaking highly of her.

“We would see each other on all of the holidays and talk to each other frequently,” Ivanka told People in 2016. “I’ve been close to Tiffany her whole life, and I really love her.”

She graduated in 2016, and at that point, she seemed to head straight into her father’s business. That type of business had nothing to do with real estate, mind, but the presidential race.

Just like Trump’s other children, Tiffany appeared several times during Donald’s campaign. She gave a speech on the second night of the 2016 Republican National Convention.

“Like my father, I never back down from challenges, so here I am, a little new to the convention scene, but very honored and confident in the man America is coming to know,” Tiffany said.

After the election, Tiffany toured Harvard, Columbia, and NYU law schools before choosing Washington, the new Trump family headquarters. In 2020, she graduated from Georgetown Law School.

Eric, Donald Trump Jr., and Ivanka have all been very close to their father, both in private and at work. However, Tiffany and Donald Trump have not always had the best relationship.

Speaking with New York Magazine in 2004 about his three children from his marriage with Ivana, Trump suddenly stopped the interviewer and spoke about Tiffany… in sort of a strange way:

“You know I have another daughter, with Marla, named Tiffany?” Trump said. “She’s just a beautiful great kid also. But it’s very separate. When you have separate wives, it’s sort of … separate. Marla was a good person, as was Ivana. But I’m married to my business. It’s been a marriage of love. So, for a woman, frankly, it’s not that easy in terms of relationships. But there are a lot of assets.”

Marla Maples said that Trump’s statement about the relationship with his job was true.

“There were times when all of us wished we had more of Donald’s ear and his focus, especially when we’d have family dinners on Friday,” she said. “‘Can you turn off the financial news for a moment, please?’ But those kids always knew that he was unique in a way, that he’s got to run that company. I’ve watched that also with Tiffany. A lot of the fathers are here for all her basketball games, but she knows her dad loves her.”

Tiffany Trump might not have played a big part in her father’s 2016 presidential campaign. However, on election day, Donald Trump said he was proud of Tiffany “to a lesser extent.”

“I’m very proud of my children. I mean, I’m just looking at them right now as an example… but I’m very proud ’cause Don and Eric and Ivanka and, you know, to a lesser extent, ’cause she just got out of school, out of college, but, uh, Tiffany, who’s also been so terrific. I mean, they work so hard,” Donald Trump said.

Sources told People Magazine that the strained relationship between the father-daughter duo began when Donald took office, as it could go months without them having any contact.

Meghan Markle speaks out on Donald Trump’s new global tariffs over possible impact on her brand

Meghan Markle has now expressed her opinion regarding the new worldwide tariffs that Donald Trump has implemented and the potential effects that these tariffs could have on her company.

The Duchess of Sussex, who is 43 years old, recently launched her As Ever brand last week (2 April), which resulted in a number of things selling out in a very short amount of time to customers all over the world.

On the other hand, the launch occurred around the same time as the 78-year-old Republican leader’s ‘Liberation Day’ declaration, in which he shared his list of reciprocal tariffs that he intends to apply on a number of countries all around the United States.

On Monday, April 7, five days after the announcement of tariffs, Meghan gave an interview to Fortune in which she discussed whether or not she believes that Trump’s controversial economic decisions will have an impact on As Ever.

As Ever is a company that sells a limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb that is valued at $28 and a mix of hibiscus, peppermint, and lemon ginger herbal teas that cost $12 each.

“At the moment, each and every one of our products is being manufactured in the United States,” she stated to the publication.

The mother-of-two continued: “But as we look at the larger context of how this is going to affect the consumer day to day, I’m very grateful that in part of the conception of this brand, I wanted to create products that look more prestige, but are more accessible and affordable.”

In addition, Meghan discussed her speculations regarding the potential effects that a recession spurred on by the news of tariffs could have on her brand.

“I think during any time of recession, people still want to find creature comforts, items that can bring them joy,” she stated in addition.

As of right now, As Ever is shipping to each of the fifty states in the United States, and they have aspirations to extend their business abroad.
Meghan made a very astute observation when she said, “You’ll see that the majority of our SKUs are under $20.

” This is in response to the fact that some individuals have been dissatisfied with the pricing of the company, which now offers products with prices ranging from $9 to $28.

“From our standpoint, certainly for me, even in the expansion of the brand, things should still feel accessible.”

And As Ever, in addition to her most recent Netflix lifestyle series, which was released a month ago on March 4th, are not the only projects that Meghan is working on at the moment.

But one notable figure will be missing from the front row: King Charles has been quietly barred from attending.

As world leaders prepare to pack the pews at Pope Francis’ funeral this Saturday, one royal absence is raising eyebrows.

From President Macron of France to Argentina’s firebrand leader Javier Milei — not to mention a very public appearance from Donald and Melania Trump — global power players will be out in full force to pay their respects in Rome.

But while British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is confirmed to attend, King Charles will be noticeably missing.

Why? Because, believe it or not, he’s not allowed to go.

Yep, you read that right.

Royal protocol
Royal protocol forbids the British monarch from attending papal funerals. By longstanding tradition, the British head of state — who also serves as the head of the Church of England — does not attend funerals held in other countries.

That duty falls to the heir instead. So, stepping in for the Crown is none other than Prince William, who will represent the Royal Family at the Vatican.

And this isn’t a new rule, either — back in 2005, it was then-Prince Charles who showed up for Pope John Paul II’s funeral while Queen Elizabeth stayed home.

In 2023, no member of the British royal family attended the funeral of Pope Benedict XVI.

When Pope Benedict, the first pontiff in 600 years to resign, passed away, he specifically requested that only Italy and his homeland Germany send official delegations to his funeral. As a result, the UK was represented not by royalty, but by Education Secretary Gillian Keegan.

Weird timing?
The fact that King Charles — a longtime admirer of the Pope with a warm personal relationship — won’t be attending the funeral is raising some eyebrows. Yes, royal protocol technically bars the monarch from attending state funerals abroad. But one detail is making the situation even more puzzling.

Just days before Pope Francis’ passing, King Charles reportedly met with him privately at the Vatican — one of his last high-profile engagements before the Pope’s sudden death at age 88.

In a public statement, Charles praised the late Pope for his “compassion,” “devotion,” and for being a global voice on unity and climate.

“His Holiness will be remembered for his compassion, his concern for the unity of the Church and for his tireless commitment to the common causes of all people of faith, and to those of goodwill who work for the benefit of others,” King Charles said and continued: “His belief that care for Creation is an existential expression of faith in God resounded with so many across the world. Through his work and care for both people and planet, he profoundly touched the lives of so many.”

Time for Prince William
But with King Charles officially out, the spotlight swings wide open for his heir.

Now, if you happen to have access to a shirt from someone of the opposite gender, take a close look and see if you notice the difference.

Women’s buttons are typically on the left, while men’s are on the right.

The exact origins of the quirky opposite-button design have been lost over time, but experts do have some theories.

Lady’s maid
One of the most widely accepted reasons goes all the way back to when wealthy women didn’t dress themselves. Upper-class ladies often had maids to help them get dressed, and since most people were right-handed, buttons were placed on the left to make it easier for the maid to fasten them up.

“When buttons were invented in the 13th century they were, like most new technology, very expensive,” Melanie M. Moore, founder of womenswear brand, told Today. “Wealthy women back then did not dress themselves – their lady’s maid did. Since most people were right-handed, this made it easier for someone standing across from you to button your dress.”

Meanwhile, men – who usually dressed themselves – had buttons on the right, which was more practical for a right-handed person.

Ready for battle
Other experts suggest that men’s clothing was designed for battle.

Back in the day, many men carried weapons (like swords or pistols) and needed easy access. Since “access to a weapon…practically trumped everything,” having buttons on the right made it easier to unbutton jackets or coats while keeping their dominant hand free for action, Chloe Chapin, fashion historian told Today.

“I think it’s important to question which time period we’re talking about,” Chapin, a Harvard doctoral candidate in American studies, started. “But as a general rule, many elements of men’s fashion can be traced back to the military.”

Masculine twist
By the 1880s, women’s fashion started adopting more masculine elements, Chapin offered another possible theory.

“It was fashionable for women’s clothing to look more traditionally masculine. However, it was illegal in many places to be dressed like a man in public, so perhaps having a difference in buttoning confirmed that you were wearing a female dress,” the historian said.

Gender inequality
In 1894, British sexologist Havelock Ellis wrote in “Man and Woman: A Study of Secondary and Tertiary Sexual Characters” that women’s garments buttoning right to left was a sign that women were seen as physically inferior to men. He argued that women had weaker motor skills and lacked the “rapidity and precision of movement” of men, who unlike females, did not require assistance when getting dressed.

‘Button differential’
Though this tiny fashion detail has been hiding in plain sight for centuries, people are just starting to realize what The Atlantic called the “button differential.”

It’s “is a relic of an old tradition that we have ported, rather unthinkingly, into the contemporary world,” the publication writes.

Of course, there were some pretty savvy and, let’s be honest, a bit cynical reasons behind the 1966 Batman movie too.

Producer William Dozier thought, “Hey, why not get this big-screen Batman movie out there while the first season of the TV show is still in the works to really hype things up?” Sounds like a genius move, right?

But 20th Century-Fox wasn’t having it. They weren’t about to foot the whole bill for a movie when they could just share the cost of a much less risky TV series. So, while Dozier was dreaming big, the studio played it safe and let him take the movie route on his own. Classic Hollywood move — nothing like a little calculated risk…

Adam West’s two must-have conditions
Back in 1966, when Batman hit the scene, Adam West was at the top of his game, a pop culture sensation. Tall, chiseled, and with that baritone voice, he was the perfect all-American Bruce Wayne. But before becoming Gotham’s iconic crimefighter, Adam West was just another actor looking for his big break.

In fact, he was born William West Anderson and actually changed his name to “Adam West” when he moved to Hollywood in 1959, after a few small TV roles.

Batman producer William Dozier didn’t just cast West because of his good looks and charisma, but because he had spotted him playing a James Bond-style spy, Captain Q, in a Nestlé Quik commercial.

When Adam read the pilot script for the 1966 Batman series, he was hooked after just 20 pages. As he said in a 2006 interview, “I read the pilot script and knew after 20 pages that it was the kind of comedy I wanted to do.”

The casting decision came down to a showdown between West and Lyle Waggoner, and West finally agreed to do the film on two conditions. First, he wanted more screen time as Bruce Wayne, not just Batman.

Second, he wanted to approve who would play Robin. He gave the green light to Burt Ward, who had a brown belt in karate but zero acting experience.

According to West, he understood the material and brought something unique to the role as Batman: “You can’t play Batman in a serious, square-jawed, straight-ahead way without giving the audience the sense that there’s something behind that mask waiting to get out, that he’s a little crazed, he’s strange.”

A curse in disguise
Despite being the Batman in the iconic, campy 1966 TV series, Adam West found himself constantly battling his greatest success.

Even though he appeared in a ton of films and TV shows throughout his career, he was always referred to as ”TV’s Batman.”

After the show ended, he had a tough time landing roles, but he made a legendary comeback as the voice of Quahog’s mayor on Family Guy.

Sadly, West died in 2017 after a short battle with leukemia.

The Joker refused to shave off his mustache
Did you know that Cesar Romero, who famously played the Joker, absolutely refused to shave his iconic mustache for the role?

Instead, the makeup artists just slathered it with white paint. The tall, suave actor stuck with this quirky decision for every episode of the TV series and the movie, and let’s be honest — no one was fooled by the ”cover-up.” If it had been such a big deal, the producers could have easily used a prosthetic to hide his mustache, but Romero’s stubbornness became part of his Joker charm.

Romero passed away in 1994 at the age of 86 due to complications from a blood clot after being hospitalized with severe bronchitis and pneumonia. He is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6615 Hollywood Boulevard for his contributions to film and another star at 1719 Vine Street for television.

Untold story of Lee Meriwether
Contrary to popular belief, Lee Meriwether never played Catwoman on the Batman TV series (1966) — that honor went to Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt. However, Meriwether did take on the iconic role in the 1966 Batman: The Movie.

But apparently, filming of the movie started before Lee Meriwether was officially cast as Catwoman. As a result, the iconic villainess is missing from the opening scene aboard the Penguin’s submarine, where the other three villains make their appearance.

A fun little detail that not many know about (perhaps because Lee shared it in a 1966 newspaper interview) is that Lee had a brilliant way of preparing for her role as Catwoman. The former Miss America star actually had two cats at home and decided to study them closely before shooting the movie.

”I watched them carefully. I tried to move as they did – sort of slinky, quiet, yet able to pounce viciously without warning,” she said.

The wardrobe malfunction
Here’s a fun little fact for you, especially if you’ve ever caught Batman: The Movie (1966) on the big screen! In what’s possibly one of the most legendary wardrobe malfunctions in TV and film history, the movie features an unexpected and unforgettable moment.

In the beginning of the film, Batman and Robin soar over “Gotham City” (actually, Los Angeles), in a helicopter. They pass by a group of bikini-clad women on a rooftop. And if you’re eagle-eyed, you might notice one of the bikinis (the red one) didn’t stay in place — revealing a little more than intended.

Of course, the film’s producers quickly blurred it out in the final cut since they couldn’t reshoot the scene.

This little detail has fascinated and surprised quite a few fans, including one Reddit user who wrote: “The blur makes it look like she has long hair down her front but it doesn’t make sense since they are jumping up and down and it looks like she has it in a ponytail. Used to watch this movie all the time and never noticed it.” It’s one of those quirky moments that makes you appreciate just how much attention (or lack of) went into those classic campy details.

Adam West’s “fake” moment

Additionally, there’s a blooper right in the middle of that iconic scene. When Robin hands Batman the Shark Repellent Bat Spray, he’s hanging upside down directly above Batman. But when Batman uses the spray on the shark, Robin is mysteriously nowhere to be seen.

Looking at the scene today, with its oversized plastic shark and overly theatrical fighting, feels almost absurd. But that’s part of the charm. The Batman movie wasn’t trying to be taken seriously. Contrary to the show, NASA astronauts didn’t actually reside in Florida during that period; they trained at the Manned Spacecraft Center, now known as Johnson Space Center, located in Houston.

Stainless steel device
In Season 2, Episode 22, a charming blooper awaits those with a keen eye.

In one scene, Jeannie floats in with her legs crossed, embodying the perfect genie or guru. But if you look closely — really closely — you can spot the strings or wires that hold her aloft! Plus, she’s sitting on a shiny aluminum or stainless steel device designed to elevate her into the scene.

In the foreground, just before Jeannie transforms, there’s a closed drawer.

When Jeannie ”blinks” herself into a wedding dress, the drawer of Tony’s desk unexpectedly “magically” opens — a likely error from the set that slipped through between takes.
