I spent a couple of days as ballast on a friend's sail boat a few years ago (well, I also pulled on things I was told to pull on). Every docking she did was under sail. She'd come screaming up to dock, put the boat in the perfect position and then just stop dead. I was impressed. I thought we'd be bobbing about amongst a pile of matchwood every time. And she nailed it every time.Perhaps he has several spare boats and lots of cash to pay out any accidental damage to others! Don't think I'd be happy taking a chance like this with any boat I've owned
