Used to love seeing these Cabover Kenworths on the Hume back as a kid in the late 80’s. The family car was an old slow Hiace so you got to see a good variety of trucks as they were constantly passing us.A mechanic I used to work with said fuel tankers typically had air starters back in the day. He also worked on dredge boat that had air starters. If the air tank was empty he said he had to go down and pump a lever for about an hour.
