Eel really took a good look, “That’s crazy, bro” then swam away.Eels are highly intelligent and have insanely fine senses. They can 'smell' the sea from thousands of km away in a river and always, automatically know the direction to get there. I'm not surprised it avoided the hook, they are super careful!I love watching animals assess the threat levels. Very primal
