Anybody else here after watching flooded storm drains or culverts?The best way to control beavers is to dig a channel through the dam. Then place a perforated metal culvert in the channel extending maybe 20 feet in front and behind the dam. The beavers cannot hear the running water and will not try to plug up the culvert !! Try it, it works great !!Beavers are great from an environmental perspective in that they help control the flow of water and prevent flooding.
