Always wondered how they did this. I retired from the railroad and think the track workers are one of the most important assets of the railroad!Simple tech and it works. It’s used in Australia too - simple and reliable.Why aren't they wearing safety boots and gloves, eye protection and high visibility wear in case of oncoming trains ? Clearly the Health and Safety of workers such as these is of low priority. I just hope the trains themselves are safe to use !
