Hauled a flooded transit bus to the scrap yard bcxtz

I found one almost identical to this one on Facebook Marketplace for 4k. I test drove it. Ran and shifts just fine. It's a Gillig Phantom. It has 617k miles on it. I don't know if that's considered a lot of stop and go miles. lol Everything works too. I can see myself using the digital sign on it very inappropriately.Surprised this bus was scrapped. At 650,000 miles, these buses usually have quite a bit of service life in them. And they are overall pretty ruggedly built. Unless it was ate up with rust and corrosion, a power washer, high pressure air hose, and dielectric grease would have gone a long way towards bringing this bus back on line. The driveline and chassis is made up of readily available common pieces and parts, and a lot of those pieces are not bothered by some dirt and water.
