Because of the bank angle of the road one wheel is losing traction. Due to rear differential that wheel keeps spinning, while the wheel with traction is not receiving any power. The jack lowers the wheel so both the drive wheels have traction . Essentially they are doing what a limited slip differential would have done manually. A limited slip diff would have prevented so much manual effort.Respect and give space for heavy vehicles drivers on ghat road.
