The demand for Fazilka railway station to build a washing railway line has been going on for quite some years. There was a washing line here during the time of meter gauge. When the gauge was changed, it was abandoned. After that a washing line was not built here due to which long distance trains cannot run here. A washing line should be built in Fazilka also.
