Magnificent, ancient giants taken down in minutes.I was a logger in Alabama. I watched them go down with birds nests full of baby birds, squirrels, racoons, etc.I couldn't do it any more. I sometimes wonder if it would be better to build our homes out of bricks and rocks and concrete.They would last centuries longer and don't go down as easy in a tornado or hurricane.
