He built is own plane and doesn't even fly it... i really hope this man gets a pilots licence, he spent 14 years building a plane he deserves to fly it.I can't believe no modern company produces a spitfire replica. Arguably the most recognizable and beloved aircraft in history, and every Vet says they are a dream to fly. I am sure modern factory tech could cut down on the price/time required to produce one, but even if it was a small shop churning out a handful a year. I think most pilots would probably sell their soul to fly/own a Spit.
